Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about our licensed, no-broker auto transport service between New York and Florida.

Unifleet Logistics is a fully licensed auto transport carrier — not a broker. Your vehicle rides on our own trucks, driven by our own professional drivers from pickup to delivery. No third-party handoffs, no broker commissions passed to you. You can verify our credentials directly on the FMCSA database: USDOT# 4303509, MC# 1676341-C. Our primary route is New York ↔ Florida, running year-round in both directions. We serve the Capital Region (Albany, Saratoga Springs, Lake George, Troy, Schenectady), New York City, Long Island, and northern New Jersey. In Florida we cover Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, and Sarasota. Nationwide transport to all 48 contiguous states is also available.
We transport sedans, coupes, SUVs, crossovers, pickup trucks, minivans, and standard vans using open transport. Enclosed transport is available for classic, luxury, or high-value vehicles. For oversized or non-running vehicles, contact us for a custom quote.
The fastest way is our online Rate Calculator — enter your pickup and delivery ZIP codes for an instant estimate. You can also call or text our dispatch team at (201) 757-9846. Because we're the actual carrier, there are no broker markups — what you see is what you pay.
Yes. Every vehicle we transport is covered under our carrier liability insurance from the moment it's loaded onto our truck until delivery. As a licensed FMCSA carrier, we are required by federal law to maintain this coverage — something brokers cannot guarantee on your behalf.
Most New York to Florida shipments are completed in 3–5 business days from the scheduled pickup date. Nationwide routes vary by distance, typically ranging from 2–7 business days. We'll give you an estimated window when you book.
We recommend removing all personal belongings before transport. Up to 100 lbs of small, non-fragile items stored in the trunk may be accepted at the driver's discretion. Note that personal items are not covered by carrier insurance.
Wash your vehicle so any pre-existing damage is clearly visible during inspection. Remove toll tags and parking passes, disable any alarm systems, and ensure the battery, tires, and brakes are in working condition. Leave approximately a quarter tank of fuel.
Yes — you or an authorized representative must be present at both pickup and delivery to inspect the vehicle and sign the Bill of Lading. This document is your legal record of the vehicle's condition and protects you if any dispute arises.
We accept credit and debit cards, wire transfers, and certified checks. A deposit is required to reserve your transport slot, with the balance due at delivery. No hidden fees — flat rate pricing only.
Yes. We operate on a flat-rate model — the price our calculator gives you is the price you pay. No broker markups, no fuel surcharges added later.
